Getting ready to start summer with a new opportunity? How about joining a growing company in a newly created position?!

Candidates applying should be very well rounded in a variety of maintenance roles such as: basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, machine repair, welding, plant layout, painting, HVAC, and janitorial. This position works on a variety of things to keep each day fresh. Some duties include, but are not limited to:

Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility's equipment.
  1. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test and make adjustments.
  2. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance work to keep up with the PM programs
We are looking for someone that is motivated, likes to finish projects, works with a sense of urgency, enjoys diversified duties, has strong problem-solving skills, and that is detail and quality oriented.

Hours: Final schedule to be determined with the final candidate. Starting times to be chose from will be between 10am - 2pm. Monday - Friday. A very occasional Saturday may be needed for project work.

Skills and Abilities Required
This person must have strong mechanical aptitudes and be able to perform the majority of the following skills, but is not limited to: carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, masonry, machine repair, welding, plant layout, painting, HVAC, and janitorial. This person must be familiar with and use hand tools and power tools common to the skills listed and be well versed in the disciplines mentioned above. This person must have strong problem solving abilities and use considerable judgment when performing his/her tasks. Also required is the ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, O.E.M. instructions and specifications. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. This individual will also need to be certified in the operation of all forklifts in operation at TCI.

A High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years work related experience or 2 years of related military experience are the minimum requirements. The ideal candidate also has an Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance and 2 years of progressive experience in the maintenance field is preferred.
