This full-time paid employment opportunity is hosted directly through Yale New Haven Health and is not an academic degree program offered by Yale University, and p
rovides board-certified radiologic technologists with the opportunity to pursue advanced modality training and post-primary certification while maintaining income and employee benefits.
Two hybrid pathways are available:
This program is designed for both new graduates seeking to launch their careers and experienced technologists looking to expand their expertise in a high-demand specialty area. Participants receive structured classroom education and hands-on clinical training that develops advanced imaging skills, strengthens critical thinking, and enhances patient care while preparing them for post-primary certification.

Upon successful completion of the residency program and post-primary certification boards, participants are eligible for consideration for available full-time or part-time positions within Yale New Haven Health and up to a $40,000 sign-on bonus, subject to program completion requirements, performance reviews and evaluations, and applicable organizational hiring guidelines. Employment placement and bonus eligibility are not guaranteed.
Qualifications EDUCATION Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved radiology technology program. AS required. EXPERIENCE Must demonstrate competency performing routine XR exams ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or board-eligibility) is required. CPR certification preferred. Must pursue board certification in chosen modality and complete within 2 months of program completion. LICENSURE Primary ARRT certification required (or board-eligibility) CT XR state licensure required. ARRT-certified in Radiography by the start date of either program. Two cohorts of residents will be accepted each year (beginning in January and July). | |
