Position Summary: Performs Environmental, Health & Safety functions at the company plant, by performing the following duties. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. In performing functions, duties or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of Company policies and procedures related to Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations. All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives. Required Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, OSHA/EPA regulations or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and Microsoft office proficient. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of vendors, and the general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Experience & Education: Currently pursuing a degree in engineering/safety/EH&S or related field from an accredited institution. Must have completed 10+ credits with an average GPA of 3.0 or better. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $21.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 1 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
