Executive Service DATA ANALYTICS MANAGER - OFFICE OF DATA GOVERNANCE & ANALYTICS - DAVIDSON COUNTY Department of Children's Services Office of Data Governance & Analytics Nashville, TN Salary: $89,496.00 - $116,364.00 per year Closing Date: 05/14/2026 Background Check: This position requires a criminal background check. Job Overview: Designs and leads data analytics and governance strategies, supporting key program initiatives, strategic planning efforts, and quality assurance for essential reporting deliverables. Manages data analytics staff and maintains stakeholder relationships within the agency, external agency partners, contractors and vendors. Utilizes analytical tools and statistical software including SQL, SAS, Tableau, Snowflake, and Power BI to perform data analysis, develop insights, and support decision making. Applies and manages analytical methodologies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data products. Presents findings and communicates insights effectively to stakeholders, including senior leadership and executive teams, translating data into actionable information that supports organizational priorities. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in quantitative or related discipline (i.e., statistics, applied statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, economics, epidemiology, computer science, social or behavioral sciences, health sciences, business, or other related field) and 3 or more years of relevant professional work experience. Or a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related discipline and 6 or more years of relevant professional work experience. Or 12 or more years of relevant professional work experience. Or an equivalent combination of education, work experience, and skills/certifications may be considered.
