Position title: Lecturer in Anthropology of Health Salary range:
See Table 15 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimated full-time (100%) annual rate for this position is $70,977 - $98,249. Percent appointments may vary. Application Window Open date: May 8, 2026 Next review date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Mar 31, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description We seek one or more lecturers broadly trained in Anthropology to teach courses across the subdisciplines, with particular emphasis on intersections of anthropological approaches to biological, ecological, and cultural dimensions of health. The lecturer will: 1) Develop and teach three large gateway courses (with max enrollment 300 students) and one upper division specialty courses 2) Teach undergraduate students pursuing the Anthropology of Health honors projects and 3) Participate in curriculum development and assessment for the health track in Anthropology.
