Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Otolaryngology ranging from $379,023-$459,146. The posted UC salary scales set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment and can be viewed at the following link: Salary Scales This position includes membership in the Health Science Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation: Salary Compensation. Application Window Open date: May 8, 2026 Next review date: Monday, Jun 15, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Jun 19, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California Irvine Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (in conjunction with the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center) is seeking a fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic surgeon to join our expanding department as an HS Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology. Step will be determined based on training and experience. Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology and be eligible to apply for a California medical license. We are currently a department of fifteen clinical faculty and four audiologists, with four full-time faculty in the division of head & neck oncologic surgery. We have full range of radiation oncology, medical oncology, and rehabilitation services as part of the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in Orange County, California.
