- Assist Distribution Management with safety communications, driver coaching, and corrective feedback
- Conduct customer site surveys and communicate findings and recommendations
- Review and ensure compliance with Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, including follow-up and documentation
- Plan and facilitate driver safety meetings, track attendance, and manage follow-up actions
- Follow safe work permit processes and adhere to all safety policies and technical bulletins
- Train third-party drivers on quality assurance programs through observations and ride-alongs
- Complete required training modules and act as a trainer for initial and refresher sessions
- Deliver driver training and re-training on product knowledge and defensive driving programs
- Conduct driver performance evaluations, provide coaching, and document outcomes
- Support certification renewals and maintain related documentation
- Serve as back-up road tester and safely shuttle vehicles for maintenance
- Maintain communication with logistics and provide back-up support to Distribution Superintendent
- Manage administrative tasks including training records, safety documentation, and payroll auditing
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement. Strong communication and coaching skills to promote safety and operational excellence
- Adaptable and flexible to support operational needs and leadership coverage
What makes you great
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or cryogenic operations
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of cryogenic gases and safety protocols, with experience supporting driver training, compliance, and safety programs
- Provide constructive, professional, and patient feedback to team members to foster continuous improvement
- Exhibit strong attention to detail for precise quality assurance testing and documentation
- Utilize Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, and Teams for reporting and communication
- Deliver strong presentations, including to large groups, to support training and operational goals
- Hold a Commercial Driver's License Class A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs or ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Adhere to personal protective equipment requirements and safety standards at all times during operations
- Adapt to working in outdoor environments with exposure to cryogenic materials and provide on-call driving or training support
- Carry a company laptop and on-call cell phone, and work flexible hours as business needs require
- Travel up to 50% by company vehicle or airplane to support operational and training activities
