In the role of Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer, we'll count on you to:
  • Conduct, supervise or direct investigation, evaluation and remedial design of contaminated sites
  • Work with Project Managers and other technical team members in support of developing project deliverables, including writing or preparing technical reports, design drawings, technical specifications, engineering cost estimates and permit applications
  • Work with agencies and clients to negotiate remedial actions
  • Prepare reports, including work plans and feasibility studies
  • Serve as a consultant and supervisor on remedial construction management projects as needed
  • Function as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this position
  • Participate in marketing efforts for remediation design projects as needed
  • Supervise a staff of professionals and technicians in remedial design areas as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in remedial investigation, design and implementation of remedial actions, as well as some project management experience
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (including Access, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Experience with soil and groundwater remedial technologies is preferred
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
