Overview The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional and engaging wellness therapies and massage treatments to guests while maintaining a high level of customer service. This position promotes relaxation, stress relief, and overall wellness by delivering customized massage services in a safe and comfortable environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage and body treatments to guests based on their individual needs and preferences Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment Consult with guests to determine appropriate treatments and identify any contraindications Promote spa services, wellness programs, and retail products when appropriate Ensure all equipment, linens, and treatment rooms are properly sanitized and stocked Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards Maintain accurate guest treatment records and confidentiality Deliver exceptional guest service and create a relaxing spa experience Attend required trainings and team meetings Assist with additional spa or wellness duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Current Massage Therapy license/certification required according to state regulations High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years' experience in esthetics. Knowledge of various massage techniques and wellness practices Willing to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding guests and staff. Customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management, fellow therapists, and sales staff. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push carts up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. Good dexterity in fingers, wrists, and hands with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand and move throughout spa and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc. Compensation Tipped/Service Charge Eligible?
