Solutions Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Apptio Platform Analyst for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a dynamic team responsible for establishing the Enterprise Demand Management capability using the Apptio platform. The ideal candidate will own the process from requirements discovery to solution design and hands-on configuration of workflows, forms, and reporting. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Own requirements discovery and translation into solution design by facilitating workshops and documenting user stories/acceptance criteria
• Build and configure the Apptio demand intake and routing solution, including forms, workflow steps, validation rules, and status models
• Implement governance controls to enforce demand quality at the point of submission
• Develop reporting and KPI insights to support operational governance and leadership visibility
• Partner with process owners, Finance/FinOps, Architecture, and platform teams to ensure the solution is aligned to enterprise policy
• Design and support data mapping and integration needs to enable traceable demand records
• Execute controlled SDLC delivery, including backlog grooming, sprint execution, testing, and release management
• Drive UAT readiness and cutover execution to meet time-fenced milestones
• Maintain strong documentation for requirements, design decisions, test cases, and runbooks
• Serve as a seasoned technical resource with hands-on build capability
• Continuously identify opportunities to standardize intake patterns and improve process efficiency through automation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise platform development/configuration and/or technology process automation (e.g., TBM/Apptio, PPM, ITSM, workflow platforms)
• Demonstrated experience delivering workflow-based enterprise solutions with integrations, reporting, and controlled SDLC practices
• Working knowledge of data modeling, integrations (API/ETL), and reporting/analytics in enterprise environments
• Experience operating in an Agile delivery environment with strong documentation, testing discipline, and stakeholder management
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of ServiceNow

Desired skills:

• Experience with Apptio (TBM Studio / ApptioOne / related modules) or similar financial/operational management platforms
• Familiarity with Demand Management, PPM, ITIL intake, and governance/tollgate models
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow, Remedy, financial systems, or data warehouses
• Understanding of FinOps, cost allocation, and unit-cost (P*Q) concepts
• Strong data skills including data quality checks, reconciliation, and variance analysis
• Hands-on Apptio development experience (data tables/transforms, data model/metrics, reporting/dashboards)

Pay range: $47.47 - $55.47 per hour
