Job Description




As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Advisor in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the building, assigned areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support opening, closing, and cash-handling related activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing high-traffic areas, and following post orders for armed assignments in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
