Academic Services for Student-Athletes: The office of Academic Services for Student-Athletes (ASSA) offers a variety of support services including tutoring, study hall, and academic coaching/advising to help assist the more than 400 UCF student-athletes reach their full academic potential. The staff of Academic Advisors, Learning Specialists, Learning Assistants, and Tutors work one on one with student athletes to provide them support in their transition from High School to college and throughout their careers at UCF. The Opportunity: The Senior Academic Success Coach will provide academic advising to student-athletes on assigned teams to include scheduling of classes, major selection, and required exams for enrollment/graduation to ensure students are making satisfactory progress towards their degree. They will monitor academic progress for continuing eligibility and graduation, coordinate travel letters distribution, produce academic grade reports, monitor study hall hours, and oversee mentoring of at-risk student-athletes. The Senior Academic Success Coach will assist in the recruitment process, keep current with changes in NCAA and university policies, and will maintain daily communication with students and coaches on assigned teams in regards to academic development. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
