Job Description

The Paralegal brings interest and experience in handling trust, estate and related matters to a new legal team ready to streamline processes for supporting banking center service to customers seeking to update account ownership. Role will include daily review and analysis of legal documents in consultation with attorneys, as well as the chance to help design automation efficiencies.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will assist attorneys with reviewing and analyzing documents including trust, estate, and other fiduciary documents presented by customers to banking centers across BOK Financial's multi-state footprint.
  • You will work to clarify customer requests as needed, determine adequacy of documents provided and assist attorneys in responding rapidly and accurately to customer requests.
  • You will assist attorneys to design and implement automation in the document review process, to maximize efficiency while minimizing legal risk.
  • You will support new legal department in other matters as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through at l east 3-5 years of related paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate, financial services, or law firm setting, completion of an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration , or a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of legal terminology, document formats, and standard legal procedures
  • Experience supporting corporate or inhouse legal teams; financial services or regulated industry experience preferred
  • Experience with trust and estate documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder requests
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and legal matter/contract management systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills
