Role Description

Lead Precision Animal Health's global procurement program in Kalamazoo. In this high-impact role, you will develop and execute international sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive cost and risk outcomes across multiple regions. You'll play a foundational role in shaping how procurement enables our broader mission-building scalable Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems, influencing cross-functional strategy, and delivering measurable business outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic sourcing leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

* Own end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P): contract drafting/execution through requisitions/POs, receipt, invoicing, and on-time payment across regions.

* Build and execute multi-year strategic sourcing strategies across labs, reagents, consumables, equipment, logistics, and services.

* Establish and maintain strong supplier partnerships; lead performance reviews and negotiate complex contracts in collaboration with Legal.

* Drive risk mitigation and compliance, ensuring alignment with legal and quality standards; implement dual-sourcing and safety-stock strategies.

* Lead cost optimization through negotiation, spend analysis, and value-focused sourcing decisions.

* Build and maintain procurement reporting: savings pipeline, P2P cycle time, and compliance metrics; communicate insights to stakeholders.

* Partner cross-functionally with Site Operations Managers, Quality, Business Operations, Finance/Tax, and Legal to align procurement outcomes with business needs.

* Collaborate with external vendors to ensure continuity of supply, strong performance, and scalable processes.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.

* 7+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, often with international scope.

* Proven experience establishing courier programs and defining SLAs.

* Hands-on S2P ownership in SAP and Ariba; strong collaboration with AP.

* Strong vendor contracting/negotiation skills and data-driven decision-making; experience with SAP P2P workflows.

Preferred

* Life sciences or manufacturing experience.
