Pay range: $110 - $130,000 annually

Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer for our parent company, Salas O'Brien. You will provide comprehensive electrical power systems design support for diverse construction projects in healthcare, military, airports and municipal facilities. You'll lead and manage design efforts, preparing detailed construction documents, and coordinating closely with architects, owners, and other project stakeholders to ensure high-quality and efficient electrical systems. It's a hybrid work arrangement in Salas O'Brien's office in Charlotte, NC.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Lead design efforts on large and small projects.

* Manage design schedules and design team members.

* Interact and work directly with architects and owners.

* Conduct preliminary evaluations.

* Produce design documents (drawings and specifications).

* Conduct design reviews to ensure adherence to codes, company standards, and project requirements.

* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

* 8 or more years of electrical design experience, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and coordination/arc flash studies.

* US citizenship is required for security clearance requirement.

* Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code.

* Strong knowledge of building codes as well as applicable NFPA and energy codes.

* Proficient in MS Office software.

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

* Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

* PE license.
