Casual GIM Research Project Assistant

About the Job
The candidate for this position will provide research support specific to an NIH-funded study on social determinants of health, biologic aging, and cancer risks and outcomes.

Job Duties
Attend weekly project meetings.
Complete literature reviews and project summaries, per request.
Contribute to presentations, manuscripts and other dissemination activities.

Qualifications

All required qualifications must be included in the application materials

Required Qualifications-
BA/BS in related field with at least 6 months of related experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Box and Google Workspace.
Ability to read and communicate in English.
Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently.
Proven track record of reliability.

Preferred Qualifications-
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of cancer epidemiology, biological risk factors and social determinants of health.
Ability to work with investigators of all experience levels.
Skill in the effective use of computer systems and software
Skill in ensuring the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $15.25-$18/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
