Job Summary:

Drives enterprise-wide growth strategy and corporate development at the highest level, establishing the long-term vision for market expansion, strategic positioning, and portfolio evolution across all lines of business. Shapes and influences the organization's direction by identifying transformative opportunities, forging high-impact partnerships, and guiding entry into new markets and capabilities that define the company's future state. Partners with the CEO, Board, and executive leadership to align growth strategy with overall corporate objectives, capital allocation, and long-range planning. Leads and enables large-scale, mission-critical pursuits and investments that significantly impact enterprise valuation, competitive differentiation, and sustained revenue growth. Anticipates industry disruption and drives innovation in growth and business development approaches, ensuring the organization remains ahead of market shifts and positioned for long-term success.

Essential Functions:

  • Shapes enterprise-wide growth strategy and corporate development direction by defining long-term market positioning, portfolio expansion priorities, and transformative growth initiatives aligned with enterprise value creation and multi-year business objectives.
  • Governs enterprise portfolio strategy and capital allocation by prioritizing large-scale investments, directing resource deployment across markets and capabilities, and optimizing the balance between organic growth, partnerships, and strategic expansion opportunities.
  • Cultivates and leverages C-suite and Board-level relationships with government leaders, industry executives, and strategic partners to influence market direction, secure high-impact opportunities, and expand the organization's competitive advantage.
  • Establishes enterprise growth frameworks and operating models that institutionalize scalable, forward-looking approaches to market entry, opportunity development, and competitive differentiation, elevating organizational maturity and long-term growth capability.
  • Champions transformative pursuit strategies and deal structures by guiding enterprise-level solution positioning, strategic partnerships, and investment decisions for opportunities that materially impact corporate trajectory, market leadership, and enterprise valuation.
  • Advises executive leadership and the Board by synthesizing macroeconomic trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging market signals to inform corporate strategy, long-range planning, and enterprise risk and opportunity management.
  • Represents the organization at the highest levels by shaping industry dialogue, influencing policy and market trends, and positioning the company as a recognized leader across national and global forums.
  • Develops next-generation leadership capability by building executive bench strength, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, and ensuring long-term succession planning across growth, business development, and corporate strategy functions.
  • Aligns enterprise functions and leadership teams by driving integrated strategy across operations, finance, corporate development, and human capital to ensure cohesive execution of growth priorities and sustained organizational performance.
  • Forecasts industry market data and assesses risks to make important strategic choices that impact the organization's success.
  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Level of Supervision Received:
Uses policies and general objectives with little functional guidance. Rarely refers specific cases to manager unless clarification or interpretation or organizational policies is needed

Education (can be substituted for experience):
Minimum Master's Degree or Law Degree required (JD Preferred)

Work Experience (can be substituted for education):
15+ years of experience required

Certification(s):
Subject matter certification may be required for specific contracts
