Summary Job Description: Room Service Ambassador Full Time - 1st Shift Objectives are to skillfully perform multiple tasks necessary to operate the Food and Nutrition Job Description: The purpose of the Room Service Ambassador is to serve meals to patients in a professional, efficient manner; instruct patients on the meal ordering system; assist patients with placing their meal orders within the limitations of the physician prescribed diet; and to assess patients' capabilities to utilize the meal order system. The Room Service Ambassador will be able to provide basic information to a patient regarding their physician prescribed diet and will alert the patient's Clinical Dietitian and/or Nurse when further education or assessment is needed. The Room Service Ambassador is the main representative (or "face") of the Food and Nutrition Services Department on patient floors. The Room Service Ambassador position works much of their time without direct supervision:
