Job Purpose and Function:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for in-process and final inspections. The Quality Inspector is accountable for all products manufactured by HPNE to ensure conformance to specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performs in-process and final inspection of all products for conformance to specifications (inspection procedures and engineering drawings), conducting visual inspection and testing components/assemblies in production
• Assists with development of inspection procedures for products manufactured by HPNE
• Performs label inspections (i.e., product labels and box labels)
• Maintains and records quality testing information within a batch record
• Performs thorough batch record review prior to accepting product lot for release
• Completes all quality tasks within established HPNE guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
• Applies principles of cGMP and ISO Standards
• Trains other employees
• Supports continuous improvement and elimination of waste from processes and methods
• Reads blueprints and specifications to ensure that production standards are met
• Uses measuring tools such as calipers and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a team environment with a cross functional team
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional analytical skills

Familiarity with use of rulers and calipers

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum 3 years' experience in quality control inspections required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in reviewing mechanical and electrical drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• ERP experience preferred
• Cleanroom experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Prolonged periods of working with your hands
• Ability to wear appropriate attire for a cleanroom (gown, mask, and hair net)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Hourly salary of $28.75/hr
