Casual Nonexempt - Department of Neuroscience

Required Qualifications:
BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years.
Experience with histology, including immunohistochemistry

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within a laboratory environment.
Experience with rodent handling

50% Research:
Conduct laboratory procedures including tissue processing and immunohistochemistry under the supervision of laboratory staff.

50% Laboratory Management:
Responsible for data management and analysis and assisting in the preparation of data for meetings.
Work closely with the PI and lab staff to maintain laboratory regulatory compliance and ensure lab safety.

Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system. It is an interdisciplinary science that collaborates with other fields such as chemistry, computer science, engineering, linguistics, mathematics, medicine and allied disciplines, philosophy, physics, and psychology.

Pay Range: $15.25 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
