Structural Designer

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

As a Structural Designer at nVent Management Company, you will have the outstanding opportunity to contribute to world-class projects in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will:

• Retrieve and review all customer specification documents, notes, sales quotes, vendor quotes, drawings, and diagrams to build products that exceed customer expectations

• Draft 3D models and detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Analyze data to determine necessary changes or modifications to builds

• Meet with customers to accurately interpret and implement build specifications

• Coordinate and communicate with engineering, production, development, and management teams to ensure flawless execution of builds

• Revise drawings and builds based on change orders and customer requests

• Analyze specifications and performance requirements to confirm builds meet all criteria

• Collaborate with manufacturing staff to interpret builds, address questions, and make necessary adjustments

YOU HAVE:

• Academic background in structural engineering, architecture, or a related field, preferred

• Previous experience in structural build, 3D modeling, and interpreting technical drawings, preferred

• Proven skills in CAD software, data analysis, and project management, preferred

• Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands of working in a build office and occasionally visiting manufacturing sites
