Overview

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB is currently looking to hire a Project Accountant to join our New England Regional Finance team. This position is hybrid out of our Providence, RI office.

Responsibilities

    Preparation and processing of client invoices including agency workbooks; cover letters; progress reports
  • Maintaining records of billing terms as necessary, including rate tables
  • Maintain certain client portal access for invoice uploads
  • Review and processing of subconsultants invoicing relative to project requirements
  • Accounts receivable collection assistance
  • Assistance with research & resolution of client questions related to invoicing and payments
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated with ability to think critically and solve problems as they arise
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
  • Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively & positively with coworkers

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, or equivalent experience
  • 0-4 years of related accounting, finance, billing, or equivalent experience (preferably within the AEC industry)
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint or other similar financial applications a plus
