Overview
SCOPE: Under general supervision, provides general nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care, i.e. vitals, assessments and procedures. Maintains physicians schedule and performs miscellaneous tasks assigned by physicians. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities
Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited school for practical nursing. Requires a minimum of five years experience as a practical nurse in a hospital or clinic setting. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required.
