Job Description




As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols that help to deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will remain visible, support site personnel and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, review visitor and vehicle access documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels and/or site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and access points, with awareness of industrial operations and changing site conditions.
  • Document access activity, incidents, and security-related concerns in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
