Job Description




As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Rancho Mirage, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location, where you will help support a welcoming environment through screening activities, routine presence, and strong communication with patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Screen patients, visitors, vendors, and/or staff at designated entry points by checking identification, confirming authorization, and following visitor management procedures.
  • Monitor entrances and waiting areas for unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or individuals needing assistance, and report security-related issues in a calm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Support a professional environment by giving directions, answering general questions, documenting required information, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital-required vaccines are required.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Must have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
