Ferring Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Job Description:

As a privately-owned, biopharmaceutical company, Ferring pioneers and delivers life-changing therapies that help people build families and live better lives. Our culture is focused on cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit and long-term perspective that enables us to achieve growth and scale, while remaining agile and true to our 'people first' philosophy. Built on a 70-year plus commitment, Ferring is relentless in its pursuit of scientific innovations in areas that have not seen significant progress in recent years and where there is potential for real breakthroughs that can benefit patients. Ferring is recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies, included on Fortune's Change the World List, and Ferring US is Great Place to Work Certified.

Role Overview:

At Ferring we are on a mission to transform the treatment of radicular leg pain from lumbar disc herniation with a novel, first-in-class intradiscal therapy that offers patients non-surgical intervention to treat pain not resolved by conservative treatment. As a Clinical Specialist you will serve as a fieldbased clinical expert responsible for training healthcare providers and their staff on the safe and effective administration technique for an intradiscal therapy. You will serve as the clinical authority during early procedures, ensuring site readiness, providing hands-on technique support, and guiding physicians and staff to achieve safe, effective, and repeatable treatment outcomes. Through close collaboration with crossfunctional teams, you will deliver field insights, enhance training resources, and help drive successful product adoption across key practices. This is not a traditional clinical support role. This is a unique medical device/pharmaceutical position responsible for ensuring procedural expertise, overcoming obstacles to adoption and shaping the integration of a new standard of care for radicular leg pain associated with Lumbar Disc Herniation (LDH).

Ferring is a place where you can do your best work and where you are empowered to share innovative ideas, maximize your growth potential, work collaboratively, and know your voice is heard and opinions are valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive clinical education, handson/virtual injection training, and pre/postprocedural support while serving as the clinical expert across key practices and provider teams.

  • Enable outpatient site readiness by addressing HCP clinical inquiries, optimizing procedural performance, sharing field insights, supporting strategic accounts, and shaping training protocols and clinical pathways.

  • Active cross functional partners and coordinate with account leads to support the educational and technical needs within target accounts to ensure development of procedural expertise and confidence to deliver consistent, repeatable administration.

Requirements:

  • RN, PA, NP, or similar clinical background preferred, with experience in spine, pain, or imageguided procedures.

  • Minimum 5 years clinical field support of interventional spine/device education, with strong procedural expertise and knowledge of lumbar pathology and radiculopathy required.

  • Previous medical device experience strongly preferred

  • Previous interventional spine and/or pain experience strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting the launch of a novel or disruptive therapy, including leading initial case support, training physicians on procedural techniques, and driving adoption through clinical workflow integration across office, ASC, and hospital settings.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate clinical data into practical HCP education.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and operating in a fastpaced, dynamic launch environment.

Note: These are field-based roles. We seek candidates who are willing and able to travel 60 % or more of the time. Successful candidates are required to reside within the territory and within close proximity to a major airport hub.

This evergreen job requisition is intended to proactively identify and engage top talent for opportunities in our field sales team. If you have a passion for helping people live better lives and want to join an innovative team that aims to help change the current standard of care, we want to hear from you! Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience.

While this is an evergreen job requisition, our talent acquisition team will review applications regularly and reach out to suitable candidates for both current and future opportunities.
