Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team in Nashville, United States. In this role, you'll transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions that support organizational goals.   • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis
  • Analyze complex data sets using SQL, statistical methods, and data modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Design and develop data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and develop metrics that align with organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and other departments to understand reporting needs and assess data requirements
  • Create and maintain dashboards and automated reports that track key performance indicators and support decision-making
  • Prepare written analyses, visualizations, and presentations for management reviews and stakeholder meetings
  • Support the evaluation of data systems and tools, recommending improvements to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiency
  • Work independently on assigned projects while maintaining open communication with team members and supervisors
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or business) OR 8 years of equivalent related experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions
  • Demonstrated expertise with SQL for querying and manipulating databases
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, databases, and data modeling principles
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining collaborative and responsive to team needs
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations
  • Experience with data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance processes
  • Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: Experience with statistical analysis, data warehousing, or federal/government reporting environments
