Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Informatica ETL Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role requires a seasoned ETL developer with extensive experience in Informatica, Oracle, and Unix environments within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of custom ETL processes, working with both fact and dimension data models, and developing automated job schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain custom or structured ETL solutions
• Work with fact and dimension data models
• Extract data from DB2 and Oracle sources
• Parse flat files and apply complex logic to process the data
• Develop, implement, and maintain job schedules for automated ETL processing, including error handling, notification, and logging
• Run complex queries and write PL/SQL stored procedures based on requirements
• Write and convert shell scripts for preprocessing files
• Work independently within a full development lifecycle Agile environment

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience with Informatica ETL (Cloud/Power Center 9.x)
• Strong background with Oracle, Exadata, PL/SQL, and UNIX
• Proven experience in data extraction from DB2 and Oracle
• Strong Unix experience in writing shell scripts
• Financial domain experience is required
• Excellent communication skills

Desired skills:

• Banking industry experience

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
