LIHEAP Intake/ Eligibility Worker(Full Time)

Location: Woonsocket, RI

Provides customer services and application assistance for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and assists LIHEAP Coordinator with preparation of applications, client communications, outreach and other Family Support Center services related to basic needs.

Education/Licensing Requirements:


  • High School Diploma and computer literacy sufficient to enter on-line portal information.
  • Two years of experience working with diverse population especially families and elders
  • Familiarity with office equipment ( e.g., copier, fax machine, scanner)
  • Bilingual-Bicultural candidates encouraged to apply

Working Conditions:


  • Ability to provide own reliable transportation
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues, consumers and other professionals both in person, through email and via the telephone
  • Detail Oriented
