Construction Manager - Process Systems & MEP Projects

Amarillo, TX | 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Pay: $53-$76/hr

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead mechanical

process systems and MEP construction activities for large-scale industrial and high-tech manufacturing projects. This role will oversee subcontractors, coordinate system startups, manage project schedules, and support commissioning activities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical subcontractors, vendors, and onsite construction activities
• Coordinate MEP systems with civil, structural, and architectural teams
• Lead system startup, commissioning, and quality control efforts
• Conduct project meetings and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation
• Support project budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and subcontractor management
• Ensure safety, compliance, and construction completion requirements are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of construction management experience in industrial or hi-tech projects
• Semiconductor or process construction experience preferred
• Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction documentation, and commissioning processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours based on project schedules
