Job Summary:
Job Description Food Service Assistant This position will be responsible for assisting the Chef's with daily food preparation, the execution of banquets and events at the Fluno Center, and preparing meals to order in Smitty's Study Pub. Other responsibilities will include, cleaning, mopping/sweeping, taking out garbage/recycling, and doing dishes. This position will work evening hours in the kitchen at the Fluno Center. The hours will be, approximately but not certainly, 1:30pm-9:30pm. The schedule will not be set to specific days. The schedule will depend on business levels, so it could be any day of the week. We would be flexible with the start time, but this person would need to work until 9:15-9:30pm to assist with closing the kitchen. *This may be a good opportunity for someone who works mornings and is looking for supplemental work. The number of hours each week will fluctuate but would be between 20 and 35. Wage is $17.00 per hour +$.80 added for differential Weekend pay for work performed on Saturday and Sunday.. +2.50 added for differential night pay, for work performed between 6pm-6am.
