Summary Research Assistant - MSTP individuals are trainees of the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), a dual-degree training program for physician-scientists. MSTP supports medical and research training culminating in the receipt of both an MD and a PhD. Trainees must be admitted to the MCW School of Medicine to be considered for entry into the MSTP. Minimum Required Education: Baccalaureate degree Minimum Required Experience: Preferred Education: Preferred Experience: Required Certification/Licensure(s): Preferred Certification/Licensure(s): Physical Requirements Frequently required to maintain a stationary standing or sitting position for extended periods of time. Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment Continuously works indoors in an environmentally controlled environment with little to no exposure to moderate or extreme weather outdoors. Sensory Acuity Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
