Job Title: Senior Technical Product Specialist

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a SeniorTechnical Product Specialistto be responsible forsupporting the Sales team in the promotion and sale of the Hillphoenix Case brand and products. The Technical Product Specialist will serve as a "go-to" resource for information and questionsregardingapplication and design options forCaseproducts, and by satisfying customer needs anddemonstratingexpertisein the industrial refrigeration market. The candidate must have excellent communication,customerand interpersonal skills. The individual should have experience indealing withindividuals at multiple levels of the organization. Key to success in the position and the company isto"live" the culture and core values of the Company.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

  • Provide a "Go-To" resource for all Hillphoenix products with a focus on Case products, designoptionsand their application to support both an internal and external knowledge resource.
  • Be a team player withgood communicationskills including managing several ongoing tasks at the same time with the ability to develop and manage an action plan to drive it to its projectedresult.
  • Sales Category Support & Training: Defining the necessary information toinsurecomplete support of all sales efforts in relation to a category, working withLearningCenter toinsurebest in class training.Lead New Customer Requests meetings and work withengineering/PMtodetermineabilityto customize a unit for a specific project and potentialnew trendsin the market. Provide Category support to the sales teams (inside/outside) to ensure they have all information to adequately provide the customer with theappropriate product.Review bids (RFPs) to select CAS products thatmost closely meet bid requirements andnote anyexceptions,complete required biddocumentsand work with Inside Saleson bid quotes for specified products.
  • Support Strategic Planning & Target account support for the introduction of new products and their applicationfor withproduct position for increasing market share and margins.
  • Market Trends/Data Mining: Reviewing data for useful information to reveal trends, patterns, and relationships to support proper product position in the market.
  • Product Marketing: clarifying potential markets for a product and providing detailed support to the customers and/or sales team and dealer network.

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience and responsibilities intechnicalproduct specificationand experience inacommercialrefrigeration environment.

To be a great fit for this role:

  • Requires strong product knowledge of Hillphoenix products with a focus on the Case product portfolio.
  • Basic understanding of refrigeration and construction requirements for intended applications.
  • Willing to travel as needed to attend required meetings, customer visits, etc.
  • Effectiveproblem-solvingcapability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with customers and others across all levels and functions of the business.
  • Individualsmust collaborate andestablishstrong working relationships with customers, contractors, field service, industrypeersand others as needed.

Mental- Requires arelatively highdegree of concentration intermittently; periods of mental effort and concentration followed by other aspects of the job with lesser concentration and attention requirements.

Physical- Requires walking/standing approximately 30%, sitting approximately 60% andlifting upto 30 lbs.; involves occasional stooping, forward bending and crouching approximately 10% of time.

Manual Dexterity- Requires use of hands tooperatecomputers, copy machines, other generaloffice,toolsand equipment, and to record written information.

Audible Demands- Requires ability to communicate via verbal instructions and to communicate with outside sources and internal departments in person and via telephone.

Visual- Requires the ability to read written instructions, correspondence and other documentation as well asoperateoffice equipment such as computers and printers.

Environmental- Requires capability of performing essential job functions in sales, industrialrefrigerationand supermarket environments.
