The Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department, collaborates fully with the other care team members in assuring continuity of care for their patients. The technologist promotes a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel and focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
Cath Lab Offers:
* State of the art technology that includes Philips and Siemens X-Ray system, IVUS, OCT and Intra Cardiac Echo (ICE)
* High Risk Coronary PCI Program: Intravascular Lithotripsy, Atherectomy, Impella, IABP and ECMO
* CTO Program
* Structural Program including: TAVR, Pulmonic, Mitral and Tricuspid Valve therapies, ASD/PFO closure and a robust Adult Congenital Heart program.
* Peripheral Program including: Carotid stenting, Balloon Pulmonary Angioplasty (BPA), Pulmonary Embolism Thrombectomy and EKOS
* Pediatric Program in collaboration with Boston Children's Hospital Cath Lab

Education:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology certified by the ARRT
  • Valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Completion of BLS and ACLS certification
