Job Description: Primary responsibility of the Training Associate will be to provide support to the QA Training department and will lead Trainer Led GMP classes. In addition, this position will support training initiatives from the QA Training department to achieve compliance with the cGMP needs of the facility. The responsibilities may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. (This list of tasks is illustrative ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.)

  • Utilize instructional design techniques to coordinate, create and maintain Instructor Led Training (ILT), and Computer Based Training (CBT) initiatives and programs.
  • Facilitate GMP training courses to all levels of employees.
  • Coordinate training events initiated by the QA Training Department.
  • Assist in the Creation/Create Training Guides.
  • Write/edit and review department related protocols and SOPs.
  • Verify facility-wide training and move SOPs forward in the document management system per the required procedures.
  • Perform routine audits of training records to ensure compliance
  • Serve as a Training Coordinator to all departments within JHS-S without a specified Training Coordinator
  • Back-up for assistance/troubleshooting for JHS-S learners and Training Coordinators related to the LMS.
  • Assist with processing of training forms in the LMS.

External Interfaces:

  • New Hires for the Company.

Internal Interfaces:

  • Site wide, all departments.

Qualifications: (delete header and add bullets)

  • Bachelor's degree required (Major(s) Desired - Adult Education, Organizational development, or Instructional Design)
  • Teaching Certification Desired
  • Minimum 3 years' experience (7 years' experience in lieu of degree) required
  • Certified Trainer or 6 months training related experience required
  • Electronic documentation management system and/or LMS experiencer required
  • Pharmaceutical experience (Desired)
  • FDA regulated Industry Experience (Desired)
  • Experience with training in corporate environments. Understanding of CFR21, GDP, GMP, ISO Desired.
  • Advanced vocational/specialized knowledge
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Attention to Detail/Accuracy
  • Facilitation of groups
  • E-Learning (Desired)
  • Understanding of cGMP concepts as they relate, but not limited to training/training compliance

Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full- -Time

Shift: Days | Monday-Friday | 8:00AM-5:00PM
