To learn more, visit http://sciences.ucf.edu/ The Opportunity: The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Sciences (COS) is seeking qualified candidates for a Director, Marketing Communications II position. The core responsibilities of this role center on both strategic development and hands-on leadership. The Director II is responsible for managing communications, marketing, and public relations strategies and efforts within the College of Sciences, while also contributing directly to the execution of key initiatives. We are seeking a strategic, thoughtful leader who is energized by the opportunity to elevate the visibility and impact of the College of Sciences. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, initiative, and a solutions-oriented mindset, and excels at navigating complex environments, building strong relationships, and aligning communications with broader organizational goals. The successful candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and can effectively balance strategic priorities with execution while contributing across a wide range of communications and marketing efforts. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 9+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
