How will you contribute?

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of high-pressure steam systems within industrial and commercial environments. You will inspect, test, maintain, and repair high-pressure steam boilers and associated equipment, continuously monitoring system performance to uphold safety and efficiency standards. Using technical drawings and diagnostic tools, you will identify and resolve mechanical and system issues, performing both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on boilers, pumps, valves, piping, and steam systems. You will ensure full compliance with CSD1 regulations, state boiler codes, and union safety standards, while maintaining accurate maintenance logs and documentation. Working collaboratively with engineers and plant personnel, you will help optimize system performance and respond effectively to emergency calls and system shutdowns as needed.

What you need to qualify?



  • Completion of a Steamfitter or Pipefitter Apprenticeship Program (union preferred)


  • Active membership in, or ability to join, the local Steamfitters Union


  • Strong understanding of high-pressure steam systems and blueprint reading


  • Minimum5years of experience working with industrial/commercial boiler systems


  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills



Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces


  • Comfortable working in high-temperature environments


  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
