LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Housekeeping and Laundry are some of the most important jobs for maintaining our hotel in a safe, attractive and comfortable condition for our guests. The Stella Hotel and Ballroom is looking for a part time Laundry Attendant who is committed to providing first class services as part of a collaborative team.

As a Laundry Attendant on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:

  • Strip guest rooms when needed.

  • Collect linen baskets from each floor.

  • Sort all linens and treat stains.

  • Load laundry for washing.

  • Load wet, clean items to dryer as directed.

  • Sort and fold clean dried items and store in designated linen locations.

The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

  • Previous hotel laundry experience.

  • Dependability and regular attendance.

  • Ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a courteous, empathetic and discreet manner.

  • Ability to lift or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
