ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is responsible for applying high-quality finishes to precast concrete panels in accordance with approved samples and production standards. The Finisher ensures consistency across panels while maintaining equipment and supporting overall production quality. This position plays a key role in delivering visually and structurally sound finished products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Apply finishes to concrete panels based on approved samples
  • Maintain consistency of finishes across multiple panels
  • Assist with patching and repairs of precast panels as needed
  • Prepare and complete finish samples for approval
  • Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure proper operation
  • Conduct basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Follow safety procedures when working with finishing materials
  • Support production team to meet deadlines and quality standards


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with experience in concrete finishing or similar hands-on production work. They are comfortable working with specialized equipment and materials while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. This individual is a team player who can consistently deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE



  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Experience with sandblasting equipment
  • Familiarity with acids used in concrete finishing
  • Good verbal communication skills


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
  • Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
