General Job Description IES Residential is actively seeking an HVAC Dispatcher to join our North Houston / Conroe HVAC team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and can keep technicians organized and on schedule, we want to hear from you! Previous dispatching experience is preferred, but motivated candidates with strong administrative and customer service skills are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Dispatch HVAC technicians to service locations using phone and computer systems. Monitor routes and technician status, adjusting schedules as needed. Provide technicians with complete job details, customer notes, and updates. Prioritize service calls based on urgency and customer needs. Maintain accurate logs, records, and data entry in company systems. Communicate appointment updates with customers and ensure satisfaction. Work closely with the HVAC team and office staff to keep operations running smoothly. Help resolve customer concerns in a professional and service-oriented manner. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications What We're Looking For Previous dispatching experience preferred (HVAC or Plumbing experience is a plus). Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Strong communication and active listening skills. Service-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities. Proficient computer skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Dependable, organized, and team-focused. Physical Requirements Prolonged sitting and computer use. Frequent use of phone/headset systems. Ability to view screens for extended periods. Occasional lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds. Work Environment Office-based position supporting the North Houston HVAC team. Fast-paced environment with frequent phone and digital communication. High call volume during peak HVAC seasons. Team-oriented atmosphere with daily interaction between technicians and office staff.
