BB&E is an employee-owned full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors. Position SummaryBB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Environmental Program Manager for an on-site position to fulfill all requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for our NASA Environmental Support Services (NESS) contract located in Houston, TX. The on-site Environmental Program Manager will provide the planning, coordination, technical direction, and surveillance of the program team and activities necessary to ensure disciplined performance of work. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements Key Qualifications* U.S. Citizenship is required * Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required. * Knowledge:
o Professional registration and/or certifications in fields of expertise preferred. * Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. * Software: Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. * Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to solve problems and function as a member of a team. Experience & Education* Experience: * Seven (7) plus years of relevant experience managing Environmental Compliance projects and supervising/managing personnel and resources is required. Experience managing environmental contracts for Federal Agencies or NASA is highly desirable. Experience/background complying with environmental regulations with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is highly desirable. * Education: * A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering is required.
