Under the direct supervision of the EEO Office's Office Manager, with some discretion for independent decision-making, assist the EEO Office with the processing of reasonable accommodations requests submitted by employees and applicants for employment, which includes, but is not limited to; receive, log, track the processing of RA requests by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using relevant spreadsheets and databases; participate in the processing of RA requests by engaging in the cooperative dialogue with relevant parties across divisions and units; assist with training employees on RA request policies and procedures; and complete any related or assigned administrative work. Minimum Qualifications For Assignment Level I: Preferred Skills Strong organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and case management databases. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging in cooperative dialogue with employees and supervisors. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Experience working in government or public-sector HR. Experience in handling reasonable accommodation requests, HR compliance issues, and/or related administrative functions. Knowledge of ADA, Title VII, the NYC Human Rights Law, and EEOC regulations.
