MEAL Officer - Local Hire, Global Health Location: Project HOPE is an international NGO of more than 900 engaged employees and hundreds of volunteers who work in more than 25 countries, responding to the world's most pressing global health challenges. Throughout our 60-year legacy, Project HOPE has treated millions of patients and provided more than $3 billion worth of medicines to local health care organizations around the world. We have helped build hundreds of health programs from the ground up and responded to humanitarian crises worldwide. Program Summary: Project HOPE is providing humanitarian assistance to internally displaced and conflict-affected persons in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Deir Al Balah neighborhoods within Gaza. The portfolio in Gaza focuses on Health, Protection, and WASH programming with private funding and support from USAID/BHA. The MEAL unit supports to improvement the effectiveness of health programs and operations in Gaza by providing up-to-date and accurate data on our activities that can inform the larger team on how to adapt programs, can inform cluster sectors of Project HOPE's contribution, and inform our donors on the progress of the program implementation against stated objectives. This position will be based in Gaza. Successful applicants will be able to reach post in Gaza. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the MEAL Coordinator, the MEAL Officer supports the design, implementation, and quality assurance of MEAL systems across active projects in Gaza. The role ensures field monitoring, accountability systems, operational performance reviews, and donor-aligned reporting are effectively implemented.
