Test Operator

Job Purpose:

Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods and documents results. May perform simple repairs, component replacement, and maintain malfunction logs.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

- Perform sub-assembly and system-level functional tests using MPI, WI, Test Procedures, e-Traveler, and other supplied documentation.

- Differentiate between real and false rejects; address and correct false rejects related to setup or operation.

Education and Experience:

- 1 - 2 years of related experience as a Test Operator with telecommunications, networking, or switcher appliances.

-Demonstrate proficient written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to test assemblies based on verbal or written instructions and Test Process Instructions.

- Basic understanding of electronic networking appliances.

- Availability for overtime and weekend work in addition to a standard 40-hour work week.

Salary Range(annual): $41,600- $45,760 ($20 - $22 / hour)

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
