Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
The Student Success Activity Director will manage all programmatic and budgetary operations related to the Student Success
HBCU Title
III activity. Programmatic management will include program oversight, reporting, and budgetary management of processing all business functions in accordance with University and Federal guidelines. |
| Primary Function of Organizational Unit |
The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Student Success in the Division of Academic Affairs at North Carolina A&T State University promotes the culture of academic excellence and student success integral to the University's mission of excellence in teaching, research, and student success. |
| Minimum Requirements |
- Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Education, Public Administration, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, Social Sciences, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education student success, academic support services, program administration, or grant-funded initiatives
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience with federal or state grant management, including budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
- Strong project management, written and oral communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Working knowledge of Title III (or similar federal program) regulations, compliance requirements, and allowable activities
- Demonstrated experience using data to inform program design, assessment, and continuous improvement
- Experience leading institution-wide student success initiatives (retention, persistence, gateway course reform, advising, tutoring, SI, etc.)
