Primary Purpose of Position
The Senior Associate Director provides advanced leadership in the strategic administration and
coordination of institutional and outside scholarship programs. This role aligns with JCAT 413002 through high-level expertise, independent judgment, and leadership in complex scholarship operations supporting
enrollment and student success
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The primary purpose of the Office of Financial Aid is to administer financial aid in a professional and compassionate manner to students and other customers while assuring the University's compliance with Federal, State and Institutional regulations. The office is also responsible for reconciling programs, conducting workshops, ensuring compliance with athletic aid as well as other responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years for experience working within a university Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Extensive knowledge of enrollment management and financial aid regulations and processes, leveraging, strong verbal, written, public speaking and organizational skills.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Master's degree * Experience with Banner, SLATE, and scholarship systems
