Summary of the Job:

The Sr. Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible for system administration of the Company's financial planning and reporting systems. This includes: maintenance of comprehensive financial calculations, partnering with business units to automate planning and reporting processes, and collaboration with the IT department to maintain, enhance, and support the planning and reporting platforms. This position is part of the Business Planning and Analysis (BP&A) function that oversees consolidation of company-wide financial results. As part of the BP&A team, this position will work closely with the business segments and actively be involved in preparation of periodic forecasts, financial reports, and other ad hoc analysis projects. Efforts will focus on driving profitability and actioning data.

Role also includes financial reporting and analysis for related banking entities. Responsible for performing financial reporting and partner with bank personnel to prepare and review operating budgets, forecasts, monthly financials, and product analysis. This may include, but is not limited to, income analysis, loan and deposit review, regulatory reporting, peer analysis and ad-hoc analysis requests.

About This Role:

The successful candidate is a self-starter who can design, plan, and execute on projects to meet specific internal client

needs. As an individual contributor, the candidate must also be capable of collaborating with data analysts throughout the accounting, finance, and enterprise data management (EDM) teams. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Hyperion Essbase financial planning and reporting applications.
  • Coordinating with HR, Accounting, and Finance to integrate workforce, asset management KPI/metric, and allocation.data/metadata sets.
  • Maintaining various management reporting hierarchies.
  • Developing Hyperion calculation models for statistical accounts, allocations, and financial plan consolidation.
  • Communicating system processes and project roadmaps.
  • Supporting system upgrades/migrations and evaluating new processes and systems as business needs evolve.
  • Designing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and executing/scheduling Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) interfaces and business logic.
  • Managing user access to finance systems.
  • Continuously maintaining best practice libraries for system administration and user experience.
  • Providing planning and reporting systems support for all finance users which includes administration of the Finance Systems Support SharePoint site.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for increased efficiency / accuracy in leveraging data.
  • Financial reporting and analysis for community banks, including budgets and monthly reporting o key stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, data analytics or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in large and medium sized project teams, as self-directed contributor with a proven track record of being detail orientated, innovative, creative, and strategic.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.
  • Compliance: Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required.
  • Must be technical savvy
  • Must be proficient with Excel, PowerBI, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Financial statement preparation and analytical skills.

Desired:

  • Hyperion Financial Planning and Reporting product suite, or other equivalent business systems analysis experience.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Business Objects or other reporting tools.
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, R or Python.
  • Familiarity with database management concepts.
  • Financial services and commercial banking background.
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
