UI/UX Manager - Design Operations & Delivery
This role works in close partnership with senior UX leadership, translating experience direction into clear execution plans, scalable workflows, and operational excellence, while fostering strong collaboration across Product, Technology, Brand and Business teams. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * This role involves a combination of people leadership, design operations management, and delivery oversight * Managing team capacity, resourcing, prioritization, and delivery planning to support business and product needs * Partnering closely with Product, Technology, and cross-functional, global teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver UX work * Coordinating internal teams, external research and design partners to scale delivery, support collaboration and iteration, strengthen adoption and ensure consistent execution aligned to established direction * Leading UX initiatives that support digital transformation, platform enablement, internal tools, and system-driven experiences, ensuring usability, efficiency, and scalability * Supporting operational excellence through UX, improving automation, acceleration, and effectiveness of digital systems and workflows * Ensuring consistent application of design systems, accessibility standards, and UX quality benchmarks across customer-facing and operational experiences * Supporting and evolving new approaches to delivering design experiences, including improved workflows, facilitation, and collaboration models * Providing teams with operational clarity on how work moves from intake and exploration through delivery, while aligning to strategic experience direction and project goals SKILLS / ABILITIES Design Operations & Delivery Leadership * Strong ability to operationalize experience strategy into effective delivery plans, workflows, and execution models * Proven experience managing UX delivery across multiple workstreams, balancing quality, speed, and constraints * Ability to apply UX thinking to platforms, internal tools, and back-end systems to improve efficiency, adoption, and scalability * Skilled at facilitating conversations that improve cross-functional alignment, participation, and shared ownership * Comfortable introducing and evolving new methods, tools, and approaches to how design and research work is delivered * Ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex and fast-moving environments Team Development & Collaboration * Demonstrated success in managing, coaching, and developing UX designers and researchers * Expertise in building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement * Provides clear operational direction while reinforcing established experience standards and expectations * Strong cross-functional communication skills, bridging design, development, brand, marketing, and business teams Execution Quality, Accessibility & Standards * Ensures consistent application of design systems and UI standards * Ensures accessibility requirements (e.g., WCAG compliance) * Oversees research and validation best practices * Oversees design documentation, handoff quality, and readiness for development * Acts as a steward of execution quality, consistency, and delivery excellence UI/UX COMPETENCIES * Strong foundation in user-centered design and modern UX best practices * Experience supporting user research and usability testing efforts * Knowledge of responsive design and cross-platform execution * Familiarity with modern UX tools and platforms, including collaborative design tools and AI-enabled tools that enhance design and research workflows REQUIREMENTS Education * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, UI/UX, or a related field * Training or experience in design operations, delivery management, or agile environments Experience * Proven experience managing UX designers and researchers * Strong background in design delivery, operations, and cross-functional collaboration * Demonstrated ability to improve team effectiveness, execution outcomes, and operational impact * Minimum of 8-12 years of combined experience in UI/UX practice and people leadership roles This role focuses on how UI/UX work is delivered-enabling teams, improving execution, and supporting digital transformation through strong operational leadership.
