Federal Express Corporation is seeking qualified applicants for Product Manager and Product Management Advisor positions.

Job Description

This role will drive the integration of diverse capabilities into high-impact solutions for key verticals: Healthcare, Automotive, Aerospace, AI & Data Centers.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus

  • Consulting or similar strategic advisory experience is highly preferred

  • Experience building and executing cross-functional business strategies

  • Experience in one of the verticals (Healthcare, Automotive, Aerospace, AI & Data Centers) is considered a plus.

  • Experience in global air freight and/or freight forwarders considered a plus

Product Manager

Job Profile Summary: Under limited supervision, leads development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for managing, developing and implementing marketing, sales and other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes.

  • Evaluates market, economic and competitive factors affecting product performance and demonstrates ability to perform fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.

  • Works with advanced data models and analytics.

  • Prioritizing new features, orchestrates and executes product development.

  • Executes new product development initiatives as marketing or overall development lead across multi-functional team.

  • Coaches others in less senior positions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills.

  • Strong executive presence and human relations skills.

  • Strong project management experience.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.

Minimum Experience: Three (3) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master's Degree equals two (2) years experience.

Product Management Advisor

Job Profile Summary: Under limited supervision, leads development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience.

  • Leads development and implementation of marketing, sales and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes. Independently lead needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance.

  • Performs fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.

  • Leads completion of needed advanced data models and analytics.

  • Identifies and prioritizes new features, including market analysis, business case development and driving prioritization.

  • Leads and executes complex new product development initiatives across large, cross-functional work teams.

  • Actively coaches others in less senior positions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.

  • Strong project management and project management leadership experience.

Work Locations: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs.
