Position Summary
The Network Lead shall oversee the design, administration, optimization, security, and sustainment of enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission operations across multiple facilities and environments for a major IT services contract for the U.S. Army.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead network engineering and operations activities.
- Manage LAN/WAN, wireless, VoIP, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Oversee routing, switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network monitoring systems.
- Ensure high availability and secure network operations.
- Support network modernization and optimization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network outages and performance issues.
- Develop network diagrams, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate network security compliance and vulnerability remediation.
- Support classified and unclassified network operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of network engineering experience.
- Experience with network security technologies and monitoring tools.
- Experience supporting DoD or Army enterprise networks.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP or higher certification.
- Experience supporting classified networks.
Security Clearance
- Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
